A perfect marriage: AT and 3-D printing

As people learn about 3-D printers, it seems the first question they often ask is, “But why would anyone want to print something in 3-D?”

There are many answers to that question, but I’m very excited about an AT example a friend told me about … a Braille 3-D printed mobile phone from Australia and New Zealand. The article that was shared with me appeared this month in Science Alert, a periodical intended to keep readers “posted about the quality research also being done in Australia and New Zealand. “
